Signs That Say You Are Becoming Overstressed

Stress can be a very big downer. Even the most motivated and driven person can lose the angst needed in order to fulfill certain goals, when he is under a lot of stress.

It can be likened to ball chains, cuffed to a person’s ankles. If you are stressed, it is hard perform to your fullest potential.

Therefore, it is important for you to beat stress, if you want to be more protective. If you can, you need to try to overcome stress before it succeeds to possess you.

You are your body’s master. You need to be in tune with the behavior of your body, so you can address issues of stress, right away. Here are some signs that will indicate overstress. If you are suffering from any of these, it is safe to say that you are in big trouble, and something needs to be done.

• Are you overanxious? People who are stressed, tend to be overanxious. People who are stressed become natural worriers. They worry about simple things, to the point of being quite paranoid. They worry about big things and they worry about small things. They worry so much, that they do not seem to function right.

• Are you lacking sleep? People who are stressed do not get enough sleep. They spend sleepless nights worrying about all sorts of things, and this affects their sleeping behavior. When a person is tense, it is hard to relax and sleep. Lack of sleep leads to fatigue and listlessness; people are unable to perform to their full potential because they are exhausted.

• Have you lost your appetite? When you are under a great amount of stress, there is sometimes the loss of one’s desire to eat. People become overcome by their worries that they no longer feel the need to satisfy their personal needs.

• Is your body about to give up? You do not eat. You do not sleep. You worry so much. People who are stressed put their bodies in great danger, and soon enough their bodies show signs of giving up. They get sick very often and their sickness keeps coming back, even after achieving some sort of cure. People who are stressed have a better chance of suffering from indigestion, heartburn, strokes, heart attacks and increased blood pressure.

• Are you having trouble being productive? People who are stressed are tired. They do not eat well or sleep well, and their health is under the line. People who are stressed cannot function well. Due to this, they are unable to do their job well, and have trouble fulfilling tasks.

It is not easy to be dealing with stress. If you are troubled with these symptoms, then you are overstressed; and it should be enough to convince you to do something about it. It is very important that you deal with this, immediately, before things get worse. The success of your business will be dependent on your productivity; and you cannot be productive if you do not work efficiently.
