When you feel chronically incomplete, you’ll do anything to make the relationship work or pretend it’s working. Finding the courage to say no requires first being clear about what it is you want to say yes to.

It takes courage to walk away and sometimes you just have to be tired of being sick to be willing to face an uncertain future. This is the better option than staying in a painful present.
