First of all, understand that…This is the TIME of YEAR people make CHANGES! Prospects are getting READY for a NEW YEAR! New money, new opportunity, and new beginnings. Help them make 2003 great! You need to become MORE aggressive right now, help the prospect understand the importance of ACTING on their dreams. Share a lesson wealthy people have learned: “Procrastination will COST you MONEY!” It’s time to ACT!
Ask more EMOTION DRIVEN questions: What are you goals for 2003? How much “extra money” do you want to earn in 2003? What would you like to change this year?
1. Identify where you are in your business. Write down your level & income. Take INVENTORY and GET serious about your business! When you look in the dictionary at the word “SERIOUS” there should be a picture of YOU!
2. Identify your “key” prospects. Create a TOP 20-30 list. Call them to find out where they are at with their decisions. STRENGTHEN your existing relationships they may not be ready. This is the time of year to follow-up as January is a BIG month for RECRUITING.
STOP working with DEAD prospects. “Work and spend time with those participating, not those who are “procrastinating”. “Don’t chase the one’s who choose not to respond, as it is easier to GIVE birth than to RAISE the DEAD.”
3. INCREASE your FOLLOW-UP activities. Send hand written postcards this week and next. Be original, be yourself. Be personal, and discuss 2003.
4. ANNOUNCE a PLAN or PROMOTION for 2003! Have you received any holiday promotions lately? 1st Quarter promos? Well, we are a business too so treat yours like one and get creative, so people RESPOND.

We are creating a 2003 expansion team with about 10 (whatever number) NEW people this month, and as we work our leads in January, these new business partners will be placed under the _________ people who decide to be a part of our 2003 expansion team. (Be clear that you are NOT building their TEAM for them but more so WITH at the beginning.) Our goal is help this expansion grow very fast in 2003. Is this something you might be interested in?
