‘IN-HOME Meetings Make Money!’ Now that you KNOW the facts that support the POWER of In-Homes…let’s take a look at the WHY behind IN-HOMES! Here are a few Facts we need to address on WHY the IN-HOME can be VERY…I mean VERY effective in building your downline!
THE ‘Duplication’ Factor In-Homes are duplicatable when set up the right way. Every time I conduct an In-Home meeting…I stress one key point…. ‘keep it simple and duplicatible’ No catered events…no 3-piece suits…no overhead projectors… If you have any food…keep it to some chips, soda, finger foods at the MOST…you don’t want your prospects to think they are joining the catering business. Dress very casual…look nice but casual…and comfortable!
Most companies have adequate tools….don’t use TOO many! ‘keep it simple and duplicatible’ If you have a simple video to watch (the tool I use the most) that explains the company, the product/service, the compensation. Any TOOL will do…just use the TOOL and not YOU to do the majority of the work. This sets the stage for duplication.
The ‘COST’ Factor….
The In-Home presence is low cost. After all, most people want a business that has little overhead…requires little time…a business that you can run with out being the sharpest tool in the shed! ‘keep it simple and duplicatible’
The ‘Relax’ Factor…
Relax and have fun! People like to be around fun people! Just remember that your JOB is to EXPOSE the prospect! Your other JOB is to create an environment they LIKE and feel comfortable coming back to! PUT yourself in the their shoes…do what you would want done to you. and remember… ‘keep it simple and duplicatible’
The bottom line is this….
Guess what? They all still use this method TODAY! The point is that IN-HOMES have been conducted for years! They work and if you want TO see the results yourself…do what networkers have done for 50 PLUS years…and watch your business take on a NEW level of INTENSITY!
ADDITIONAL TIPS on Conducting IN-HOME Meetings!
Always LEAD your new person into conducting IN HOMES. Do NOT ask or TELL, simply LEAD. Example…(calling your downline) ”Hey John, are you available NEXT Thursday around 7pm?” Great, let’s make a list of about 30 people you know so we can set up a “grand opening” to your business. All you have to do is INVITE them and I will do the REST of the work at your house.”
HOW to INVITE: “Hi Sam, how are you? Great! Listen; are you available next Thursday at 7pm? Perfect, I would like you to come to my house Thursday to take a look at a business I am starting…I know you may or may not be interested, but I could sure use your opinion if anything…and I promise it will not take long. (ACT BUSY – GET TO THE POINT and TRY to GIVE little details)
BEFORE the MEETING: As the leader, I suggest you CALL each person they invited and let them know you are EXCITED to meet them THURSDAY and or ASK them to BRING something to help their friend out…like napkins or soda…etc…this CREATES responsibility.
The MEETING: If you are the leader, have your new person INTRODUCE you to their contacts. (this is good start to their leadership and speaking capabilities)
