We all feel a little down in the mouth from timeto time, but there are things we can do to makeourselves feel full of vim and vigour again, you know. Here are some of my tips to makeyou feel absolutely brilliant again.
; Decide to do something different from yourusual routine. Take a different route to work.Get off the bus a few stops short and walk the restof the way. Have a salad lunch for a change, if youusually have sandwiches. Just make a small change.
; Book yourself a holiday. Even if you can onlyafford a weekend away. The change of scene willmake you feel energised again. You might evenmeet someone new if you're single!
; Take responsibility for your actions. Do youusually blame circumstances or other peoplewhen something goes wrong in your life? If sothen try to remember only *you* can be in chargeof your own destiny. You can't change the world, you can only change yourself. Once you takeresponsibility for what happens to you, you cantake action and move forwards.
; Ever heard the saying "Act your age, not yourshoe size"? Well, for once, why not act your shoesize and not your age? Go to the park and have ago on the swings. Take the kids with you, chasearound and make lots of noise. Laugh and have FUN!
; Try to fit some exercise into your schedule. Not only will you start to look better, you willstart to feel better too.
; Try to make someone else feel good. How oftendo you do something completely unselfish? It isamazing how good you will feel by making someoneelse's day. Help an old person, make a strangersmile, have a conversation with a lonely person.Helping others is excellent for the soul.
; Take the lead in your relationship. Show yourman you are feeling frisky. Many males are turnedon by an assertive woman. Let him know, in nouncertain terms that you are feeling passionate.
; Stop thinking "I'll do it tomorrow". Do youhave something praying on your mind thatyou need to start or complete? Well, make todaythe day to DO IT!
; Look after yourself, with a lovely relaxingbath, facial and / or foot massage, in factanything that makes YOU feel good. After allyou're worth it!
; Be thankful for what you have got, not resentfulabout what you haven't. I am sure if you lookaround you, you can find many others far worseoff than you are. So count your blessings.
