STOP WASTING TIME
Consider the most important things you need to accomplish. These are high priorities. Then think about those things that seem to take up a lot of time and get you nowhere. Those are the low priorities.
Understand what’s important to achieve and do those things first. Let go of all the busywork for paperwork that piles up. It’s better for you to stack those low priorities somewhere else and finish the important material than to spend time clearing your desk to get down to the essential things.
You’ll be noticed more quickly for the big things you achieve than for keeping paper flowing. Don’t let co-workers waste your time with chitchat if you’ve got things to accomplish. Save that for lunch hours or for after work social activities.
Handle paper once; decide the action and finish with it. Keep interruptions to a minimum and delegate responsibilities.
Although you’d like to believe you’re indispensable to the job and you are the only one to take care of many things, you can teach someone else and move on to your own goal achievements.

LEARN HOW TO BE CONFIDENT
When it comes to dating, confidence is the underlying biggest turn-on for people.
There is no denying that confidence is sexy and people are attracted to it. Not only that, but it will also help you ask for a date. But there is good news for those who lack confidence Confidence is a skill people learn. It is not part of the gene pool, so no one is born with it. Confidence is also tricky. Too much confidence can come across as arrogance, but if you dont have enough confidence people may treat you like a doormat.
What is unusual about confidence is that you can fake it until you make it. In other words, if you put on a confident front it can help make you feel confident on the inside and when you start to feel confident on the inside it is obvious on the outside.
Consider your posture
Have a firm handshake When you meet someone for the first time in a new situation, confidently hold out hand and give a firm handshake. This applies to both men and women.
Use positive eye contact When you look someone in the eye you are telling him or her you are strong and confident. Note: Dont turn it into a war of wills, or a staring contest, and remember to look away occasionally.
Use a strong voice The sound we produce with our vocal chords can be strong, powerful, smooth, sexy, etc. It is a great instrument. It also says a lot about who we are; that is, speak too softly and people may assume you are afraid to speak up. A simple guide for speaking is breathe, speak slowly and speak up.
Confidence is ultimately an expression of self-esteem.
Self-esteem is definitely something you can work on.
Try these suggestions to boost your self-esteem:
Do something challenging Do something you would normally think you couldnt do. That might be as small as reading Romeo and Juliet or as extreme as doing a sky-dive. Whatever it is, push your boundaries and when you succeed at it you will like yourself more.
Do some volunteer work Besides being a great way to help others and meet potential dates, you will garner appreciation for your work and who you are. This is certain to boost your self-esteem.
Practise positive self talk Every day we look in the mirror at least once and some of us forty times or more. Each time we look in the mirror we tell ourselves things. The self-talk can be positive or negative.
People tend to be negative in their self-talk, but we do have a choice. Make an effort to say positive things about yourself when you look in the mirror.

Tips for your Health:
Lower back pain is a common complaint. Four out of five adults have it at one time or another. While only a few cases are serious enough to require hospitalization, and possibly surgery, backaches are a leading cause of absenteeism – second only to colds and flu as a cause of lost work days.
Most backaches are due to weakened and inflexible muscles, ligaments, and connective tissue in the back, hips, thighs, and abdomen – primarily caused by a sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise. Over time, poor posture such as slouching, incorrect ways of sitting, standing and lifting, as well as excess weight, and the resulting stress, are all things that set the stage for painful episodes of back strain.
Most back pain is treatable with improved body mechanics and simple exercises that strengthen muscles and foster flexibility in the affected areas. This can also serve as prevention. As a start, take the time to do routine everyday activities in the right way.
– When sitting, keep your back straight, shoulders relaxed, and head up. Feet should be flat on the floor, which may mean adjusting the chair height or using a small footstool. Knees should be slightly lower than hips, to take pressure away from the back.
A support pad or small pillow between the chair and the lower back can also relieve pressure. When you are working at a computer, the screen should be at eye level. Try not to sit for prolonged periods. If possible, get up and walk around periodically, every half-hour or so.
– When you are driving, move the seat close enough so that you can reach the steering wheel and foot pedals without undue stretching and straining. You may want to use a lower ack support pad while driving. On long trips, plan to stop, get out and stretch from time to time.
– When standing for any length of time, alternate resting each foot on a small stool about six inches high. Or you can improvise with a block of wood or phone books. Change your posture and walk around periodically.
– Whenever you are standing, avoid locking your knees and try to pull up with your abdominal muscles. This will keep your pelvis in a more natural position. Ideally, women should wear shoes with low heels no higher than one inch. High heels tend to force the back out of alignment.
– When sleeping, use a firm mattress or a plywood panel under a less firm mattress. If recovering from a back injury, you may even wish to sleep on a mat on the floor. Lying on your side with knees bent, a pillow between them, is the best sleeping position. It protects both curvature of the spine and hip alignment. If you prefer to lie on your back, place a pillow under your knees for proper circulation.
– Remember that improper bending and lifting are the most common causes of immediate back pain. Always bend from the knees, keeping the back straight, instead of bending at the waist. If you have a history of serious back problems, or if you need the services of a specialist, consult your physician for referrals.

What are you waiting for? Few opportunities are thrown at you; you have to create the right positions and situations to move up. Make lists of things you want to accomplish and do them.
If you’re busy in an office situation, make daily lists and reward yourself with praise upon completion. Catch yourself achieving.
Concentrate on what you’re doing and do one thing at a time. But do it quickly and handle the next thing. Be efficient in telephone calls, maybe taking them at appointed times or calling back at your convenience.
Don’t generate copies or correspondence that make you look like you are doing things. Your superiors will know what you accomplish. Be busy doing important things rather than writing about what you’ve done.
And take the time for physical exercise. It will energize you – not take away from your effectiveness. It relaxes your mind and stimulates your capacity to achieve.
Tips on planning your retirement
Do you want to start planning your retirement? Are you unsure on how to proceed? Then these tips will be helpful to you when setting up your retirement plan.
Have the proper mindset
It is crucial that you have set your mind to set aside a part of your salary for your retirement. This can be in the form of a bank savings account, a 401k plan, etc. It does not matter how small or how large an amount you will save as long as you set it aside. You can eventually increase the amount that you save whenever you have extra money, you get a salary raise, or you have finished your payments.
Know what you will need
Retirement will be expensive. According to estimates done by experts, you will need 70% of your income before retirement to sustain your standard of living after you have stopped working. You should look into the benefits that you will receive from Social Security. About 40% of your pre-retirement earnings are to be paid back by Social Security.
Your employer’s pension or retirement plan
If the company that you work for offers a retirement plan, you should determine what your benefits will be and what it is worth. Before you think of going into another company, you should find out what will happen to your benefits after you leave your current company.
Don’t use what you have set aside
Never touch what you have saved for your retirement. Dipping into it will mean a loss in principal as well as interest and this may also cause you to lose tax benefits.

Dear Beloved Pets:
The proper order is kiss me, THEN go smell the other dog or cat’s butt. I cannot stress this enough!
The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairs were not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn’t help because I fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king-sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort.
Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but a scam.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom . If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, bark, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered.
Also, I have been using the bathroom for years — canine or feline attendance is not mandatory.

Rules for Non-Pet Owners Who Visit and Like to Complain About Our Pets
1. They live here. You don’t.
2. If you don’t want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That’s why they call it “fur”niture.
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4 To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted children who are short, hairy and walk on all fours. Although they don’t speak clearly, they communicate extremely well.
5. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don’t ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called (this does not apply to cats), NEVER drive your car, don’t hang out with drug-using friends, don’t smoke or drink, don’t worry about having to buy the latest fashions, don’t wear your clothes, and don’t need a gazillion dollars for college.
