One Minute Tip:
Unconscious Power
The unconscious mind is a very powerful tool. Take advantage of this and each night before heading off to bed, take some time to pose questions to yourself and then allow your mind to hash them out while you sleep. In addition, mediate in whatever way you find relaxing before going to bed to clear your mind from clutter and allow the subconscious mind to go to work.
Power Quotes:
“Saying yes and no clearly builds confidence and rids us of
the misconception that we are powerless.”
“Begin somewhere; you cannot build a reputation on what you
intend to do.”
“It is not the great temptations that ruin us; it is the little ones.”
Tips for your Happiness:
4 Steps to Set Your Mind for Success Beth Tabak Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Marianne Williamson How long have you waited to be happy at work? Or to write a book? Or bring home the income you deserve? Are you your own best support system or biggest diversion? Consider this, the cheetah has no problem using its gift of speed. The bald eagle easily uses its keen eye sight and ability to soar. Dolphins joyfully display their playfulness. Imagine what is possible for humans with our unique gift of the mind if we focus on what serves us vs. what holds us back. Discover 4 steps to set your mind for success. 1- Know what is limiting you~ Do you like mysteries? Heres one that can change your life. Lets investigate. What beliefs are at the core of who you are? Pay attention for one week to self-limiting beliefs that show up. As a detective, be consciously aware. Keep a journal handy to jot down notes. Beliefs can present themselves as a label you place upon yourself partnered with an assumption such as Single Parent- there is only so much I can do. They can reveal themselves in a negative statement such as I cant be ., I cant do , Im not good enough, Im not smart enough . Beliefs may be uncovered in an assumption such as theres not enough time, thats too hard, or hell say no. Write down the beliefs that are restraining you from what you want. 2- Get to the source of the diversion~ A good detective digs deeper. Whose voice is attached to the belief? How did this belief become attached to your life? Is it legitimate? Is it serving you? Or limiting you? Jot your notes. I have to warn you. We hesitate to go within because we subconsciously know what may be lurking at the source. That 4 letter word fear! Write down the fears you discover that are holding you back. 3- Rewrite your limiting beliefs and fears with an unlimited confident attitude~ Turn I cant into I am, thats too hard into I know I can do this part, I dont have enough time into I know whats important and I do that first, and Single Parent- theres only so much I can do to Single Parent- the world is my resource. Its abundant and lacks nothing. Let me know if you need help with this. Reread your new attitudes daily until it becomes part of who you are. A simple task that makes an impact. 4- Stand strong and respond~ Do not give into self-limiting beliefs! When they show up mount up. When you hear you will never be respond by saying says who? I determine my value. When you think you are going to make a fool of yourself , respond and I will love myself for having the guts to try. And when you believe there is no time left for your dreams, drop whats not as important and stand up for who you are. Are you willing to do what it takes to set your mind for success? Will you do the detective work to gain access to your unlimited potential? What I want for you is to break out of the bounds of limits and become your own best Success Coach Starting Now!

Tips for your Health:
Energize Yourself.
– Energy starts with a good night’s sleep. If you don’t get the rest you need you’ll never have any energy.
– For a lasting energy, snack on protein foods like skinless poultry, fish and pasta.
– Avoid sugar type snacks.
– A coke, a cup of coffee or other beverages with caffeine will give you a quick temporary boost of energy but if you take too much you will feel worse later on when the caffeine wears off.
– Since sleep is a source of energy be sure to avoid alcohol or caffeine close to bed time to assure you of a better quality of sleep.
– If it is possible, take a short nap in early afternoon. You will be surprised at how well you will feel, often better than when you first get up in the morning.
– To sleep better, don’t go to bed until you are ready. Try to get up a little earlier each morning until you get tired enough at night to go to sleep at a reasonable hour.
– Keep your work and your hobbies out of the bedroom. Use that room to rest, relax and sleep.
– Never lay in bed if you cannot sleep. Get up and do something that usually makes you drowsy. Go back to bed only when you can no longer keep your eyes open.
– For a good night’s sleep have milk and crackers. You have heard this for years and it still works well.
– There are two ways that I personally use to recharge. That is to take a cold shower and then sit down with a tall glass of lemonade. This works well if you live in a hot climate or during the summer months in northern cities.
– Every day keep a record of the things or foods that seem to give your body a charge and when you need to refresh, you repeat those methods or eat to give you the energy you need.

How to avoid credit card pitfalls?
Seeing people buying food or shopping clothes using credit cards has been commonplace these days. The phrase “Charge it!” has become a favorite expression of card users, and has been commonly heard in shops, dining places, and elsewhere.
After all, who does not want to use these credit cards? Easy to use, these sleekly-designed cards can be used to buy practically everything in commercial establishments regardless of how much (or less) money does one carry money in his wallet. Short of cash and hungry? No grocery supplies? Going to a party but no money to buy that dress you’ve been drooling for? No problem! Your good ol’ credit can care of that for you. No worries.
Credit Cards: Not Free Money But wait. A credit card spree may be fun, but that doesn’t free you from responsibilities in paying the expenses you incurred from using your credit card. Credit cards, after all, are interest loans in disguise. Typical credit cards ask for a number of charges, including:
” A finance charge, which is an interest charge for the unpaid portion of your monthly bill;
” An annual membership fee;
” Or if you’re paying after the deadline, there is also a late payment fee which could have a higher interest rate.
In fact, many credit-card holders face credit-related problems. Poor purchasing decisions, lack of information on credit card fees, and disregard for upcoming credit payments are among the reasons why many credit-card users are often hard-pressed in paying their debts. Some are not even able to pay for the actual purchases they made, just barely managing to pay credit card company charges.
Before you get drowned in a sea of debt, here are some tips to help you manage your credit-related expenses: ” Be credit smart. Applying for a credit card application means you are ready to assume the responsibility for paying your credit. You and only you – not your parents, spouse, or whoever – is responsible for that.
” Use your credit cards wisely and sparingly. Remember: Paying goods and services using credit cards are more expensive than using cash or checks. Credit payments include interest and other fees. Use credit cards as sparingly as possible. If you really need to use credit cards, carry only the cards that you will actually use.
” Use credit only if you are sure you can repay it. Paying your debt on a credit card using another does not count.
” Avoid impulse shopping on your credit card.
” Use credit for money emergency only.
” Seek credit counseling as soon you see financial problems on the horizon.
Getting A Run For Your Money: How Do You Consolidate Credit Card Debt Spending is such a hard habit to break, especially when people use their credit cards. Once they get addicted, they continuously endure the agony of spending in spite of imminent problems that tag behind.
And when things eventually get out of hand, most people will soon realize that they are already stuck with a mountain load of credit card debts. And mornings after mornings, they will wake up each day with worries in their head about how they can repay all of those instant splurges.
Theres one way to get out of credit card debtsconsolidation. Heres a list of ways how to do it:
1. Make a balance transfer. One way of consolidating a credit card debt is through a balance transfer. In this way, the person who has a huge outstanding balance on his or her credit cards will get another credit card with a lower interest rate. Once approved, they should immediately get a cash advance and use it to pay off their standing balance on the other credit card. In that way, they consolidate all of their payables into one credit card. Plus, they get to have only one rate to worry.
2. Home equity loans can do the job. This is a very workable strategy provided that it will be used properly.
Getting a home equity loan is probably one of the easiest things to do. Best of all, home equity loans can offer tax deductions for the interest rate of the loan.
However, there is a drawback. The debtors house will serve as the collateral. But nevertheless, it still one good way of consolidating credit card debts. The debtor should only keep in mind that the money from the loan should only be used in paying credit card debts. If used on other things, it will only worsen the problem.
3. Make use of retirement funds. There are instances wherein debtors can make use of their retirement funds in order to consolidate credit card debts. But this should only be made if there are no other options available. This is because this type of consolidating credit card debts can be very tricky.
Loans on retirement funds are not actually tax deductibles. However, the problem sets in when the fails to pay back the loan within five years or when he or she will resign from work.
Indeed, there are no nippy fixes when consolidating credit card debts. The bottom line is that, it is better if the person will stay out of debt so as not to worry on consolidation matters.

Charles Sykes, the author of DUMBING DOWN OUR KIDS, provided for high school and college graduates a list of eleven things they did not learn in school. In his book, he talks about how the feel good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality, and set them up for failure in the real world.
