Know What I Think

Thinking is a marvelous and beautiful process to accomplish, especially theoretical thinking (using the imagination) and when we think for ourselves. We all love to think – at least we think we think! Not sure of you folks but there are times in my life when I think I thought. However; when I thought it over very thoughtfully, I realized I didn’t think enough about whatever it was I thought I was thinking. But that’s another thought!
As teenagers, many of us were absolutely positive that we thought we had the simple solutions to all of life’s problems – and yours truly was not unique! So I thought I would write all the answers down on paper, and send it off to what I thought was the proper authorities…I even included my telephone number! Of course, the president never did call me. Today, after thinking it over, I was more than likely very lucky the president didn’t think to have the FBI think it over, and see if they should pay me a visit.
Once again, yours truly decided to find a quiet haven, and proceed to think about something else – about life and what I thought about it. Well, below are some of the things I thought about.
I think we can do anything our minds can conceive…that someday mankind will way fare through our galaxy …that we only use one-millionth of the power of our brain …that we can be far better off than we are if we want to…that belief in ourselves is extremely important…that someday we will learn to use our mind to move matter…that we can be any type of person we wish to be…that in the far future, we will have no use for our bodies…that our limitations are only limited by our thoughts…that the final frontier is within our minds…that once in true outer space, we will discover we are not alone.
After some more careful thoughts, I think that it is essential to always realize that there are always other possibilities…that it is also important that we prove to those we love, that we do love them…that it is absolutely enchanting when we discover that it is fun to learn…that we should always get up when we are knocked down…that our trials and tribulations are a lot easier when we face them head on…that it is a wonderful feeling when we know who we are…that it is important to realize that we are human and will make mistakes, and forgive our selves…that to understand that when we are alone, we don’t have to be…that we should know to have the wisdom to choose what is right for us.
And if you believe that thinking about the above can involve a lot of thinking, consider thinking about these! That we have the power to create our own universe in our mind…that we are the sum total of all we believe we are…that when we try a new approach to something our world expands…that when we open a thought, it plants new seeds…that when we discover initiative, we discover we can grow…that when we become determined, we are no longer tired…that when we open our imagination, we own the universe…that deep within our mind are the solutions to the mysteries of the universe…that we can forgive ourselves, even when others will not.
And of our thoughts, it is vital to understand that they have created the aroma of fresh-baked bread…that they have created our curiosity, so we way explore…that thy created our imagination, so we may create…that they created yearning, so we may improve ourselves…that they created others, so we may not be alone…that they created an edge to depression, so that new hope can be born…that they created courage so we may ask for help when we need it.
To think for ourselves is extremely powerful, especially when we think and believe that creating a good human being is something we each must do, that the edge of our dream is the edge of our reality…and that we can choose our own destiny by just believing in the power of faith in ourselves. Imagine what you can do next!
