Breastfeeding Benefits Mommy Too

We often hear the tag line “Breastfeeding is best for your babies”. And many researches have already studied and proven that it is true. However, do you know that breastfeeding is not only best for the babies?

When a woman is lactating, her estrogen level is lowered which causes to fight more cancer.

When there is less estrogen, it has been thought that there is less to stimulate the uterus thus the probability for those tissues to become cancerous is reduced as well.

4. Reduced Risk of Osteoporosis.
From the different studies, it has been concluded that those mothers who didn’t breastfeed are four times more prone to having osteoporosis.

In addition, breastfeeding women have less chances of having hip fractures on the latter part of their lives.

5. Weight Loss After Pregnancy.
Breastfeeding women have been observed to have significant weight loss thus, they can easily return to their normal weight.

In addition, breastfeeding women have shown a very significant reduction on the circumference of their hip and they have loss more fats after one month of giving birth.

6. Emotional Health.
Research shows that breastfeeding women are less prone to anxiety attacks and depression as compared to mothers who are formula-feeding their babies.

Those are the different health benefits of breastfeeding. However, aside from that it has been confirmed that there are a lot of money to be saved when a mother chooses to breastfeed her baby.
