One Minute Tip:
Ask the right questions Questions have great power. One right question asked at the right time can change the direction of our lives. Hence, the quality of the questions that we ask ourselves is VERY important. It is for the same reason that we need to choose our company very carefully. If we are surrounded with the right people and for some reason miss asking the right questions, someone in our group might ask the right question for us. If we are not going in the direction that will ultimately lead us to our goals, one of the problems may be the questions that we ask ourselves. It may be time to reframe some of the questions. Here are a few examples:
Original question: What am I getting? I urge you to look at some of the common questions that you ask yourself and see how you can reframe them to make them more effective.
Power Quotes:
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
The man who has no imagination has no wings.
The real price of everything, what everything really costs to the man who wants to acquire it, is the toil and trouble of acquiring it.
I discovered a long time ago that if I helped people get what they wanted, I would always get what I wanted and I would never have to worry.
Tips for your Happiness:
The Power of Touch
When a child is ill, doctors will tell you that it is proven that a simple, loving touch of a parent can quickly pull the child through a crisis. It is the same for relationships.
Playing with your mates hair, rubbing their hand, a soft kiss on the neck, a soft pat on the leg or giving a gentle back rub will make a huge difference in how your mate responds to you. When was the last time you walked up to your mate for no reason and without saying a word, affectionately placed a kiss on their neck? This is not in a sexual way, but an affectionate way. There is a difference.
The next time the two of you are sitting in the car, at the grocery story, or standing in line at the theater, quietly reach over and take their hand. Do not be surprised if you get a strange look of curiosity the first time!
5 Reasons Why You Should Organize
Some people think being organized requires a lot of work or maybe a complete system where you have to do a complicated set of tasks. In short, many people view being organized as impossible to achieve.
While that is not really true, it takes a much disciplined person not to resort back to his old habits. Its really easy to do and you get many benefits when youre organized. Here are some of them.
1. You will have more room.
When you get organized whether at your room or at your desk at work, youll find you have more free space and that youre space is uncluttered. You wont even have to throw something out.
You just need to place things in some sort of order and maintain that order at all times.
2. You will be able to save time.
Looking for files at work? Its organized alphabetically in the cabinet. Being organized lets you look for files that you might need in a hurry in the future. Looking for your book? Its safely stashed behind your bed.
This is a really good time-saving technique which would help you when youre in a hurry.
3. You will also save money.
You dont believe that? Try thinking why you bought another ballpoint pen today? Isnt it because you lost your old one?
Or think of the countless items you bought because you thought you didn’t have one of them at your house. Just think of how much you could save in a year just by being organized. 4. You will feel more in control.
Did you know that clutter around your house and at work causes the stress youre feeling from time to time?
Its no wonder youre feeling more irritated at work. As your clutter goes, youll feel that it is easier to breathe and take charge of your own life.
5. You will make a great impression to others.
This should be a good enough reason why you should make a considerable effort to be organized.
Just think of your mother or wife not pestering you to clean your room again.
Or just think how youll never forget that you have a meeting with somebody at some place.
Being organized requires a lot of discipline to maintain. Nobody ever said it was easy.
You need to make sure you dont lapse back to your old habits or all of what you have done will be for nothing.

Tips for your Health:
Stress Management: A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked, “How heavy is this glass of water?” Answers called out ranged from half an ounce to over a pound. The lecturer replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it.”
“If I hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you’ll have to call an ambulance. In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.” He continued, “And that’s the way it is with stress management. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won’t be able to carry on. As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we’re refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.”
“So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down. Don’t carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow. Whatever burdens you’re carrying now, let them down for a moment if you can. Relax; pick them up later after you’ve rested. Life is short. Enjoy it!”
And then he shared some ways of dealing with the burdens of life:
Accept that some days you’re the pigeon, and some days you’re the statue. You are what you believe. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!
Learn How to Relax.
The following exercise will introduce you to deep relaxation. It will help create a refreshed and peaceful feeling for the body and mind. Try to do this especially upon arising and before retiring.
1. Lie flat of your back, placing the feet about 18 inches apart. The hands should rest slightly away from the trunk, with the palms up.
2. Close your eyes and gently move all the parts of the body to give a general feeling of relaxation.
3. Start relaxing the body by part. First think of the right leg. Inhale and raise the leg about one foot off the floor. Hold it fully tensed. After five seconds, exhale quickly and relax the muscles of the right leg, allowing it to fall to the floor on its own. Shake the leg gently from right to left, relax it fully and forget about the existence of this leg.
4. Repeat this process with the left leg, and then with both hands one at a time.
5. Then bring the mind to the muscles of the pelvis, buttocks and anus. Tense them and relax. Once again, tense them and relax. Next, think of the abdomen. Inhale deeply through the nose and bloat the abdomen. Hold your breath for five seconds and suddenly let the air burst out through the mouth, at the same time relaxing all the muscles of the abdomen and diaphragm.
6. Move on to the chest region. Inhale deeply through the nose, bloating the chest. Hold your breath for five seconds and suddenly let the air out through the mouth while relaxing all the muscle of the chest and diaphragm.
7. Move on to the shoulders. Without moving the forearm off the flow, try to make the shoulders meet in front of the body. Then relax and let them drop to the floor.
8. Slowly, gently, turn the neck right and left, right and left then back to center, mentally relaxing the neck muscles.
9. Now coming to facial muscles, move the jaw up and down, left and right, a few times then relax. Squeeze the lips together in a pout, then relax. Such in the cheek muscles, then relax. Tense the tip of the nose, then relax. Wrinkle the forehead muscles, then relax.
10. Now you have relaxed all the muscles of the body. To make sure of this, allow your mind to wander over your entire body, from the tips of the toes to the head, searching for any spots of tension. If you come across any, concentrate upon this part and it will relax. If you do this mentally, without moving any muscle, you will notice that the part concerned obeys your command.
This is complete relaxation. Even your mind is at rest now. Observe your thoughts without trying to take your mind anywhere. Remain in this condition at least five minutes. When you decide to wake from this conscious sleep, do so quite slowly. Imagine that fresh energy is gently entering each part of your body from the head down to the toes. Then slowly sit up. This exercise helps create a refreshed and peaceful feeling for the body and mind.
Tips for your Prosperity:
44 AUTO DEALER’S TIP FOR CHOOSING THE BEST USED CAR..
1. Examine the car’s exterior thoroughly. Look for rust, dents and
evidence that portions of the car have rusted out and been repaired with
body putty. ESTABLISH A GOAL
What do you want? Are you looking for financial security, professional acknowledgment, spiritual attainment? Do you want to fit better socially, or become more expressive creatively? Establish the goal that’s right for you.
Then turn that goal from a dream into a desire. You want to realize that goal, not just wish for it. Aesop said, “Beware that you do not lose the substance by grabbing at the shadow.” Know exactly what you want, then go for it.
Don’t be tricked by your own procrastination – especially if you want to achieve something artistic. The writer Thomas Wolfe wrote, “I had been sustained by that delightful illusion of success which we all have when we dream about the books we are going to write instead of actually doing them.
Now I was face to face with it, and suddenly I realized that I had committed my life and my integrity so irrevocably to this struggle that I must conquer now or be destroyed.”
Can you see what you want? If you want the abundance of material wealth that money provides, what goal will give you that money? Do you want the prestige of owning your own business? What business do you want to begin?
Where are the opportunities for you? Talk to everyone in the business you want to join. Make friends in the literary or art societies in your area. Read books and articles about your field of endeavor. How can you attain your goal?
“If you don’t want to work, you have to work to earn enough money so that you don’t have to work,” wrote Ogden Nash. And isn’t that the way” Money makes money; success breeds success. But not always. How can you break through those thoughts to help yourself to the rewards?
Henry David Thoreau wrote, “I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams, and endeavour to live the life which you imagine, you will meet with success.”

The Pastor and the Cat
He had a kitten that climbed up a tree in his backyard and then was afraid to come down. The pastor coaxed, offered warm milk, etc. The kitty would not come down.
The tree was not sturdy enough to climb, so the pastor decided that if he tied a rope to his car and drove away so that the tree bent down, he could then reach up and get the kitten.
He did all this, checking his progress in the car frequently, then figured if he went just a little bit further, the tree would be bent sufficiently for him to reach the kitten.
But as he moved a little further forward, the rope broke.
The tree went “boing!” and the kitten instantly sailed through the air – out of sight.
The pastor felt terrible.
He walked all over the neighborhood asking people if they’d seen a little kitten. No. Nobody had seen a stray kitten. So he prayed, “Lord, I just commit this kitten to your keeping,” and went on about his business. A few days later he was at the grocery store and met one of his church members. He happened to look into her shopping cart and was amazed to see cat food. Now this woman was a cat hater and everyone knew it, so he asked her, “Why are you buying cat food when you hate cats so much?” She replied, “You won’t believe this,” and told him how her little girl had been begging her for a cat, but she kept refusing. Then a few days before, the child had begged again, so the Mom finally told her little girl, “Well if God gives you a cat, I’ll let you keep it.”
She told the pastor, “I watched my child go out in the yard, get on her knees, and ask God for a cat. And really, Pastor, you won’t believe this, but I saw it with my own eyes.
A kitten suddenly came flying out of the blue sky, with its paws outspread, and landed right in front of her.”
~ Dwight Nelson (According to www.mountainwings.com, this is a true story about the pastor of Mr. Nelson’s church)
