You must shut the door of your conscious mind on every thought, or suggestion, of worry or fear of failure. You must exclaim "Stop it right now!" whenever you have a thought that even hints at worry or fear of failure.
Get that thought out of there and replace it with a good thought. One that says to you that all is well, all is going to work out. Once you learn how to do this, the sky is the limit.

Power Quotes:
There are two kinds of people, those who do the work and those who take the credit. Try to be in the first group; there is less competition there.
Tips for your Happiness:
Motivating Success Tip
When you are doing a project, do you have a clear image, a clear picture in your mind,
of the result you want to achieve?
Look at your picture again. When you look at it, do you get the feeling the goal has
ALREADY been achieved? If not, rearrange things in that picture to make it feel that
way.
Bring the picture closer or push it farther away. Give it more color or give it less
color. Put movement, taste, smell, if appropriate, in the picture to give it more appeal.
If that picture tells you you’ve already achieved your goal, then you will feel
successful, just by looking at the picture. If you don’t feel successful, rearrange things
again.
**Remember, if you don’t FEEL successful, you won’t BE successful**
We all make pictures in our minds. Are your pictures of success or failure?
Who’s in charge? You are! Who can change the pictures so that you go toward
success?
You can!
How does your picture look now? What kind of pictures are you making in other areas
of your life? Change those pictures, also, until YOU feel successful everywhere. Good
luck!
Relationship Tip for the Holidays:
As important as it is to spend quality time together, it is equally important to give each other time to do something they like.
If your mate loves to fish but you have no desire to bait a hook with little, slimy worms, or if you like to go to the casino but your mate would rather do something different, encourage each other to take time apart. Try establishing a set time for this very purpose, if possible.
For example, perhaps you could determine that every other Friday night is “singles” night. This is not a time to date other people, but to enjoy preferred activities. Remember that you have to place trust in your relationship.
If you try this and then drill them, to see what they did, whom they were with, and where they went, then the exercise has failed.
Tips for your Health:
Stay Active and Live Longer
Researchers in the study followed 302 men and women ages 70 to 82 for six years. The mortality rate was 12 percent for the active group, compared to 24 percent for the less-active group. Not surprisingly, the active group climbed more stairs than their sedentary counterparts.
1. Eat plenty of fresh lemons and lemon juice to reduce your desire for cigarettes. Eating lots of salads and other fruits will also help. Avoid meat and alcohol.
2. Try chewing Ginseng Root; swallow the juice.
3. Always choose seats in No Smoking sections of restaurants, trains and other public places.
4. Initiate a 3-day program, each day smoking 1/2 of what you smoked the day before.
5. Limit your smoking to alternate hours; the next day or the next week increase your no-smoking periods to 1-1/2 hours; then increase them to 2 hours, etc., until you have stopped altogether.
6. Don’t keep cigarettes by your bed. When you wake up, breathe deeply and brush your teeth right away.
7. Eliminate situations in which you normally smoke; for example, give up one coffee break each day. Exercise or go for a walk instead. After dinner, brush your teeth immediately or go for a brisk walk.
8. Don’t take your cigarettes to work or anywhere else.
9. Always sit beside non-smokers in public situations such as meetings.
10. Always put away your cigarettes, lighter and ashtray so that getting them will require an effort.
11. Change your brand of cigarette often. Each week smoke a brand with a lower nicotine and tar content.
12. Switch to a brand of cigarette you dont like; change to filter if you prefer non-filter, menthol if you prefer regular.
13. Cut back on drinks which encourage your smoking habits; for example, eliminate lunchtime coffee.
14. Make a point of having your first cigarette a bit later each day. Stop smoking a little earlier each night.
15. Alternate between giving up a morning, afternoon and evening cigarette.
16. Avoid smoking in certain habitual places, for example, on the telephone, while watching TV or sitting with the newspaper.
17. Make a list of the reasons you want to quit and keep it with you all the time; whenever you feel the urge, read your list.
Ten Ways to Get Rid of Smoking Temptations in Your Life A new year has begun and you are ready to make good on that promise of all promises: you will finally quit smoking. Or perhaps you are expecting a new addition to the family and there is no time like the present to get rid of that unhealthy habit. Whatever your motivation may be, quitting cigarettes or any other tobacco product will quite possibly be the most far-reaching decision you are making. It will improve your overall health, reduce your risk for many illnesses, improve your outward appearance, and even save you a lot of money. No matter what your resolve, the biggest issue to deal with at this time is that of the smoking temptations in your life. Quitting nicotine is not an easy process, and even though many have done so, each one will be able to testify to the enormous difficulty and even adversity they had to overcome to make their resolve permanent. Here are ten ways to get rid of smoking temptations in your life: When you decide to quit, get rid of all smoking related paraphernalia. Toss out your lighters, crumple up and throw away your cigarettes, and give away your ashtray collection. Do not keep anything inside the house that you use for smoking. Be certain to clean out all areas that may hold some stray cigarettes, such as the glove compartment of your car, your desk at work, or your purse and jacket. When taking a break at work, it may have become an ingrained habit to go outside for a smoke with your co-workers. It is time to come up with a new and equally enjoyable routine that incorporates the interactions with co-workers while staying far away from the smoke and cigarettes. Perhaps make new acquaintances in the break room with your non-smoking co-workers. Or perhaps this will be a great time for a quick and refreshing walk around the block to stretch a little bit and to take some deep breaths. You may also want to consider taking up crossword puzzles, as they will occupy you and may take away the temptation to reach for a cigarette. While watching TV, many experience extraordinary cravings due to the ingrained habit of kicking back, watching an enjoyable program, and smoking. While it would be easy to suggest simply getting out and taking a walk, in and of itself this is not a realistic idea for every time you are sitting down in front of the tube. Instead, take up a new hobby, such as knitting, that will occupy your hands while you watch TV. Small quantities of unshelled sunflower seeds or pistachio nuts will also help to assuage the behavioural cravings. Avoid locations that you associate with smoking, such as the local bar, the smoking section of your favourite restaurant, or the area in front of the pro-shop at your golf course. Find new hangouts. Isn’t it wonderful that we can now access information about anything, including stop smoking form the Internet without the hassle of going through books and magazines for matter. If you feel vulnerable, avoid people who smoke. While you will come across the occasional smoker and will most likely be able to withstand the temptation, it is imperative to avoid the big events that draw many smokers. Mimic responses to common questions and suggestions. You role-play with your children to help them deal with certain situations, and the same works for you. Practice saying it in front of the mirror. Practice saying “No, thank you, I quit” Don’t be shy about communicating your resolve. Involve your friends and families to help you quit. They will be able to help you cope with temptations, and may even be able to eliminate some of them. Change your peer group. If all else fails, and your friends will not support you in your decision and perhaps even try to tempt you with cigarettes, it is time to make some new friends. Consistently remind yourself of the reasons for quitting. Reward yourself for your resolve by spending the money you have saved by not buying cigarettes on something special just for you. While these ideas may not guarantee that you will never again face a temptation in your life to light up, they do help you to let go of many of the habits that form around the actual activity of smoking. Stay firm and good luck!

47 PROVEN WAYS TO ECONOMIZE AT HOME EVERY
DAY...
Guide To Better Budgeting
A budget is basically a money plan, outlining your financial goals. Having a budget, you can well establish and regulate funds, set and achieve your financial objectives, and make advance decisions as to how you want your finances to function well for you.
The main idea in budgeting is for you to put aside a certain amount of money for expected as well as unexpected costs.
Simply put, budgeting means an estimation of monthly home expenses basing it on previous expenses and bills.
The initial step to take in budgeting is to find out how long will your compensation last. Define fixed expenses like car payments, home rental, insurance, etc. Likewise follow up your expenditures thoroughly for a month so you can discover and understand where your funds are going. Through proper determination of your “spending patterns”, you can immediately identify solutions for effective budgeting.
For instance, when you have a steady monthly income of $4,000, you should subtract all your identified monthly bills from that income.
Other bills can be assessed and then subtracted from the amount of your income. The balance that remained after fixed costs can now be your budget in the household. Rather than allocating money for miscellaneous like gas, clothing, entertainment and groceries, financial planning will allow you instead to use proportions or percentages of it.
The strategic solution in order for budgeting to be successful is inflexibility as well as flexibility; there are fixed expenses so payment must be an inflexible factor.
Budgeting will best work when very scarce omissions are made to greater limits. The idea here is to formulate goals and plans, then abide by it as much as you possibly can.
Here are tips on how to budget:
1. Have good sense of money management. Your attitude is essential. Reach an agreement and compromise and know the significance of reducing expenditures; it all involves a lot of sacrifice.
2. Plan your situation. Make a listing with your earnings to one side and your overheads on the other side.
3. Know the difference between luxuries and necessities. List down what you believe as luxuries, with it, split the list in half, crossing out half the list.
4. Practice frugality but with dignity. You can have fun with little or without spending at all. Rather than going shopping, play with the kids at the beach or at the park.

Editor’s notes:
The Family Bible
A little boy opened the big and old family Bible with
fascination, looking at the old pages as he turned them.
"Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.
"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked.
With astonishment in the young boy's voice he answered,
"It's Adam's suit!!"
For all those who tend to feel humiliated at the GYNECOLOGIST office...
In Melbourne, FL one of the radio stations paid money ($100-500)
for people to tell their most embarrassing stories. This one
netted the winner:
She said:
I was due later in the week for an appointment with the
gynecologist when early one morning I received a call from his
office. I had been rescheduled for early that morning at 9:30 am.
I had just packed everyone off to school and it was 8:45 already.
The trip to his office usually took about 35 minutes, so I didn't
have any time to spare. As most women do, I'm sure, I like to
take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits,
but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the full effort.
I threw the washcloth in the clothesbasket, donned some clothes,
hopped in the car, and raced to my appointment.
I was in the waiting room only a few minutes when he called me
in. Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you all do, I hopped up on
the table, looked over at the other side of the room and
pretended I was in Hawaii or some other place a million miles
away from there.
I was a little surprised when he said, "My...we have taken a
little extra effort this morning, haven't we?" but I didn't
respond.
The appointment was over. I heaved a sigh of relief and went
home. The rest of the day went normal... some shopping, cleaning,
and the evening meal, etc.
"Mom - where's my washcloth?"
I called back for her to get another from the cabinet.
She called back;
"No! I need the one that was here by the sink.
It had all my glitter and sparkles in it !!!!"
