One Minute Tip:People under-estimate the power of their environment. Many people have attended a seminar where they renewed their goals and vowed that "this time nothing will stop me!" Then they fly home, walk in the door and are hit with "can you pick up pizza on your way home?" They go to the office and are hit with paperwork, phone messages or whatever, and they are quickly defeated. The people, places, demands and "furniture" of our lives keep us trapped. "Getting Everything You Want Out of Life" Imagine for a moment that you have in your possession a source
of complete and total power. You alone can command the warmth
of the sun, the fall of the rain, the turn of the tides and the direction
of the winds. What would you do with this kind of power? Would you abuse it causing the world to fall into utter chaos? Would you be benevolent and merciful, using your power to help
the people of your planet achieve their ultimate potential? Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be) there is no way
for a person to have that much power. Mother Nature controls the
planetary systems according to her own rules and her own
designs. You will never be able to have utter control over the
environment you are inhabiting. What if you could, however, have the power to determine the
course of your own life? What if you could accomplish great things
and acquire great riches just by using the power of your own
mind? What if I told you that this does not have to be a “what if?” What if I told you that you possess in your psyche the power to
chart the course of the rest of your life on whatever path you see
fit? Chances are you would tell me that I had obviously been watching
too much Sci-Fi and needed to get out of the house more often,
not to mention my obvious need to expand my vocabulary,
considering the number of times I have used “what if” in this
conversation. You would be wrong (about the Sci-Fi, anyway). Every person
holds in their mind the power to shape the events of their life to
achieve whatever end they see fit. This power is what is
known as the law of attraction. What is the Law of Attraction? The belief held by many theorists is that the universe is governed
by a set of universal laws; these laws cannot be changed, cannot
be broken and apply to every individual, regardless of age or
nationality. These laws are the riverbanks, which guide the flow of
their lives on its journey to its ultimate end. The law of attraction is one such law. The law of attraction is the
belief that anyone can determine their destiny through the power of
their minds. The law of attraction began to gain popularity in the
western hemisphere in the 19th century, as people began to
appreciate the power of positive thinking and apply it to their lives. William Walker Atkinson first introduced this concept to the general
public. He was the editor of New Thought magazine and published
a book called Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the
Thought World in 1906. As you can see, the law of attraction is not new. The concept that
thought can have a predominate affect on the course of a man’s
destiny has been taught by wise men throughout the ages, and
has given rise to a whole new era of beliefs.
One of the concepts central to the Law of Attraction is that the
things you think become reality. The things you think are energy,
just as the entire universe is energy. As you ponder your reality, or
simply let thoughts run through your mind, you are shaping your
reality. You do this by means of the Law of Attraction. The energy
you send out connects with like energy. Then, the universe
responds to your feelings by returning the energy back to you.
This happens for good or bad feelings. Another basic concept is that it is too difficult to monitor every one
of some 60,000 thoughts you have every day. The goal, instead,
should be to foster a feeling of happiness, gratitude, and well-
being. This will go further than trying to change every thought
individually. Feelings are important to the Law of Attraction. One assumption of users of the Law of Attraction is that life is
meant to be joyous and fulfilling. Many people feel that their lives
can be no more than difficult work situations, unhappy
relationships, poor health, and a mountain of debt. Unless these
people change their attitudes, they can never know the abundance
they can get through the Law of Attraction. There can never be a lack of anything that you want if you follow
the Law of Attraction. This is another concept of the movement. It
means that there is enough for everyone to have what they want.
This is especially true because some people want certain things
and other people want something else. According to the Law of
Attraction, what you want is always possible. One concept of the Law of Attraction can be stated as something
like, "what you get is what you see." What this means in this case
is that when you see a result, you will be filled with a vibration of
energy based on that result. If you see good, you will send out
good energy. Emotional energy plays a big part in the law of attraction. It is what
is commonly known as a “vibe” and is referred to as a vibration
(as I mentioned above) by scientists studying the law of attraction.
Chances are that you are familiar with the term. Have you ever
been with someone who is so happy they seem to be radiating a
“glow which inspires happiness in all those around them? By the same token, have you ever spent time with someone who
was so critical and unhappy that they consistently gave off a
“negative vibe” which seemed to suck the life and happiness out
of all those around them? Our vibrations are usually an unconscious response to some form
of environmental stimulus; something has happened which has
caused us to feel happy, or sad, or scared, or confused, or
stressed, etc., and our subconscious response to this (because
vibes are generated and projected from the subconscious rather
than the conscious) is something that is beyond our control. Chances are the person who is emitting a negative vibe does not
choose to be unhappy, nor do they wish to inflict their unhappiness
on all those around them by the simple fact of their presence. There are a number of feelings which lead to positive and
negative vibes being emitted, and it is important before we
continue on any form of discussion about the law of attraction that
you understand what each of these are .and Positive vibes --- - Joy Negative vibes --- - Disappointment The concept of karma also may have drawn its roots from the law
of attraction. Karma states that you will eventually be revisited by
that which you have sent out into the universe. If you have
practiced kindness and compassion you will receive in kind. If you
have been deliberately cruel to another you will receive back into
your life that cruelty which you have sent out. Your actions and
thoughts morph into physical entities, causing the universe to react
in kind. So it's best to keep those thoughts positive and happy! Tips for your Health:
Headache Relief Warm compresses can often be applied to the place where you have headache pain. You can use hot water bottles, a warm washcloth, or another type of hot compress. Make sure you use moist heat instead of dry heat. This will help to relieve the muscle tension, loosen your sinuses, and bring headache relief. If you’re suffering from sinus headache, a hot shower may be just what you need for headache relief. The steam will help loosen your sinuses and provide relief. You can also get some relief from eating spicy foods that make your nose run. In addition, taking a decongestant and expectorant can help to thin the mucus that’s causing the pressure and provide you with relief. Some headaches caused by stress and muscle tension can be best relieved by massage. Having your significant other or a professional rub your shoulders, back, and head can help you to get quick relief. You may also want to try stretching your muscles by participating in yoga or a stretch and relaxation routine. This can help to prevent muscle tension from causing you to have pain. In this way you can have headache relief before you ever have a headache. Sometimes sleep is the best cure for headache pain. If you’re head is aching because you’re stressed or tired, you may just need to take a nap or go to bed for the night. Sleep allows your body to relax and allows your cells to be repaired. You’ll awake more refreshed and find that your headache pain is gone. Another solution for headache relief can be found on your bed. You need to make sure your mattress has plenty of support and that you have good pillows to support your head and neck. For many people a poor night of sleep on an unsupportive mattress is the cause for headache pain. You can experience relief by simply getting a good night’s sleep. Headache pain can ruin your whole day, but some simple steps will help you to experience headache relief and go about your day with energy. Personal Dental Care: Yes, You Have To Go To The Dentist
Even if you say that you take care of your teeth very
well, you still can’t evade the fact that you still
have to go and visit your dentist at least twice a
year. Sure, it’s really not fun to go to the dentist but if
you really want to achieve the best personal dental
care for your teeth, regular visits to the dentist
would be of great help to you. What Happens At A Typical Visit To The Dentist Going
to the dentist every six months is considered more as
prevention against cavities, plaque build-up and other
teeth and mouth-related problems. The goal of dentists is to prevent gun disease, tooth
decay, and other disorders that put the health of your
teeth and mouth in jeopardy. A casual consultation with a dentist will usually
consist of three parts: a medical and dental history
(this is where the dentist asks questions about tooth
care and reviews past dental records), dental
examination and professional cleaning (oral
prophylaxis). The dentist will then examine the gums, teeth and
other tissues surrounding the mouth. The joints of the
jaws may also be included in the examination to check
for the over-all health of an individual’s mouth. Dentists usually use a probe and mirror to check the
crown (the visible part) of each tooth for evidence of
looseness, decay or plaque. The dentist may also check
the quality of your bite and the way your teeth fit
together. After checking the teeth, the dentist will usually
proceed to examine the general condition of the gums.
Healthy gums are pink and firm - not swollen, soft or
inflamed. If the dentist can find deep depressions (or pockets),
he or she might suspect that an individual has gum
disease. When the dentist is finished examining the visible
parts of the mouth and teeth, the dentist will then
take X-rays that could possibly reveal abscesses,
tooth decay, or impacted wisdom teeth. Abscesses should really be discovered right away
because it involves collection of pus surrounded by
tissues that are swollen. If it won’t be treated right
away, it might be a source for other complications. Why Professional Cleaning Is Better Than Normal Tooth
Brushing Professional cleaning aims to remove hard
deposits with the use of a scraping instrument named a
scaler. Aside from a scaler, an ultrasonic machine may also be
used by the dentist; it uses high frequency sound
waves to facilitate the loosening of plaque deposits. After cleaning, most dental hygienists will polish the
teeth. Polishing of the teeth smoothens and cleans the
teeth’s surfaces, removing annoying stains and making
the teeth more resistant to plaque. There are also some dental hygiene package that
consists of application of fluoride sealant or
compound to help prevent or slow down decay. Going To The Dentist Isn’t So Bad After All Now that
you are already aware of what happens during a regular
trip to the dentist, you would probably think that a
trip to the dentist won’t be so bad, right? If you want to promote personal dental care, you
should be the first one to have the initiative to go
to the dentist. You can’t achieve the best personal dental care if you
just depend on yourself and your resources at home. Dentists are equipped with tools, machines and
instruments that would surely make your teeth and
mouth cleaner, fresher and better.
